Everyone on the staff participates in the writing of episodes. Some of us also perform other duties. Here are the ones who make Virtual Enterprise possible.
Cador Davis
Executive producer
Cador first joined V-Ent with the intentions of doing the website and some artwork for the show but due to time constraints had to step down and let other people take over his responsibilities. He is the creator of TrekOnline and was one of the reasons that V-Ent continued after it was decided to leave VST. After several months of talks between himself and Jo he was asked to assume the role of EP and did so September 1st 2006.
Cador was born and raised (mostly) in Ontario, Canada and grew up on TNG, even though DS9 later became his favourite. He has been involved in many Virtual series over the past several years however mostly in the role of Webmaster and 2D artist. Web Design and drawing are his passions, followed closely by writing.
Jo Hack
Temporary co-exectuvie producer and writer
Jo Hack originally joined V-Ent as a staff writer, but due to various upheavals behind the scenes took over as Executive Producer in December 05. On September 1st, 2006, he stepped down as Executive Producer but remains as a main creative force on the project, and as a full-time writer.
Jo was born in the UK and grew up watching Star Trek on BBC2 (at 6pm). His favourite series is Star Trek: Voyager, closely followed by The Original Series.
He is an aspiring novelist who earns a modest wage working in bookshops. Among his many interests are deep physics and cosmology.
Elsa K.
Supervising producer
Elsa still doesn't know how she ended up working on Virtual Enterprise. She was quietly minding her own business, looking up the real show online, when she stumbled on a "writer wanted" ad. Since that moment she has spent much more time playing the resident Geek on V-Ent than working on her thesis, to the dismay of her advisors.
Her research area is in Science, but her real life interests span from books to classical music, photography, economics and world politics.
Adam Murray Briggs
Continuity - Former creative producer
Adam has been writing mostly prose for several years, but after leaving the hormone-controlled teenage years, he decided to give scriptwriting a go. After figuring out what a teaser was, he instantly settled into writing for screen faster than a beat cop getting comfy on a park bench. He has been a fan of Star Trek ever since he got a glimpse of the 3 Data's on 'Brothers' when it was first aired, and has since enjoyed every single incarnation of the saga (less so with Voyager). After exploring The Original Series fully through the medium of the DVD, he decided to give his own virtual show a go, planning treatments for 74 episodes (and actually writing a few, too!) set in the groovy 2260's. However, after reading the stunning first season of the fan show Renaissance, he decided to abandon the idea and have a go at writing for someone else and, more importantly, with other people.
Wanting to have a career in writing novels and screenplays, Adam hopes that the experience gained from fellow writers will help him achieve that goal. And if it doesn't, at least he'll have had fun along the way. Adam is currently studying English Literature and Creative Writing at Liverpool Hope University, UK, but still manages to fit in a bit of Sci-Fi around all the assignments and alcoholic beverages.
Jonjo Wilson
Writer
Jonjo Wilson enjoys writing short sci-fi stories that are rarely short. His favourite episodes of Enterprise are In a mirror darkly. As well as being in love with Linda Park, he thinks Hoshi should have worn that Terran Empire Uniform in the regular series.
Aside from Enterprise, his favourite TV show is Firefly, both Stargate shows and Battlestar Galactica. He lives in Leeds in the UK. When he is not writing (which occurs less and less these days) he enjoys reading sci-fi, dreaming of being the next J. Michael Straczynski, and spending time with his Philippine girlfriend.
Jon van Pelt
Writer
Jon has been writing down stories for as long as he can remember. He is a fan of Trek since TNG so it would only be a matter of time before he tried to come up with some of his own adventures in the Roddenberry-universe.
He hesitated for a while but finally decided to jump on board the Enterprise-project, hoping he can contribute something new and positive to V-Ent.
He currently lives in a small town in Belgium (Europe). Next to writing his hobbies are; spending time with his two dogs, hanging out with friends, cycling,...and of course going to work once and awhile.
D.E. Schofield
Writer
D.E. is from Virginia. In between massive amounts of homework from Algebra 1, he's mostly either watching Trek, reading Trek, writing Trek, reading something else or writing something else. The sort of episodes he'd love to have a hand in creating would be heavily character oriented. He's actually drawn up an outline for a Trek series (Star Trek: Columbia, for anyone who's interested- follows the NX-02) that takes place right before and during the Romulan War...however, he hasn't actually gotten around to writing it. He thinks Star Trek is one of the best shows in existence and that its message is very important. He interprets Trek's message as something like this: "Humanity can get through this. It doesn't matter how screwed up we are now- we can get our act together." Other than Trek, he's been known to read Animorphs (he doesn't care how short they are or what the reading level is- he thinks it's one of the best book series ever) and the Ender Quartet, among other things. He's been a Digimon fan since the show began airing in the US in 1999. He thinks it's a very imaginative sci-fi story, and is partial to Tamers and Savers. If no one's figured it out, he'll say it plainly- he's a serious sci-fi nut. When not reading/watching/writing sci-fi, he's normally reading something about history. Oh yes- D.E. likes to read a lot.
Simon Murray
Writer
Simon has always had a passion for writing. For as long as he can remember, he spent hours dreaming up large and extravagant worlds in which his stories unfolded and his characters lived.
But, due to the riggers of society, Simon forwent the possibility of further studying English at a higher level and instead focused on computers. He now works as a computer technician for Newham's Plashet School for girls.
His desire for writing has never quiet died and so in his spare time he writes his novels, hoping to one day fulfill his dream of becoming a published and perhaps famous, author. Simon joined the V-Ent staff in the hopes of expanding his knowledge of the writing process, mix with others that share his flare for writing and perfect his technique.
Justin Daenckaert
Writer
Justin started scriptwriting with an attempted series of his own (which may or may not launch),and joined V-Ent in 2005.
While just a teen, Justin is confident in his ability to be up here with the big boys, a fact that instantly endeared himself to Executive Producer Jo Hack. Justin lives in Southern Saskatchewan (Canada).
Justin Valencia
Former writer and co-executive producer
Justin comes to us as an avid fan of all Star Trek, especially Enterprise. He reports that his fascination began when he started watching TOS reruns with his Grandfather many years ago, which has continued through every series, and into the promise of writing scripts for Virtual Enterprise. He has a dual degree in Psychology and Political Science and he hopes that his fascination with all Trek is enriched by his unique insights in very different fields of study.
