Our creative producer, Adam Murray Briggs is moving on to greater things! But he will stick around V-Ent as our continuity consultant. On top of being our creative producer and our Trek-know-it-all guy, Adam wrote Gut reaction and co-wrote To the stars! and Assignment: Enterprise. Here are his parting words
It's certainly been a pleasure to work on V-ENT as it grew from what it was to what it has become. I've worked with a lot of talented and passionate people here who I know will continue to produce high-quality scripts in this continuation of a much-loved series that was sadly cut short in it's prime. Then again, had Enterprise continued for the full seven seasons, I doubt V-ENT would be here today. I want to thank Justin for his tireless planning ahead, Jo for his leadership and motivation, Elsa for her crossing of the T's dotting of the I's (and for doing a job that I would never do!), Cador for his understanding, Simon for writing probably the coolest teaser ever and Justin D for reminding me that he does still exist (and for writing 'Meat', which I love) Wink. And anyone else I forgot, I'm sure I think you're great too!
Keep writing, guys, cos I'll still be reading.
I'm still going to be around V-ENT acting as the Trekkie go-to guy, and I also have a supervising role on the up-coming Star Trek: Legacy here at TrekOnline. I also write for shows over at VirtualStarTrek.com. I've recently been promoted to Co-Executive Producer of Star Trek: Frontiers, I'm a Producer at the soon-to-be-released Star Trek: Knight's Haven and I also write for Star Trek: Star's End (as well as another project which has yet to be officially announced). I also have my own Doctor Who series in development (if you like to taste non-Trek once in a while), and my own TOS-era Trek show that should hopefully be coming out somewhere (either here or VST) within the next six months. That last one has been in development for over 4 years no less, so it has to be good, right?
Right?
Adam
